Nagpur: In a career spanning 12 years, Ashish Pandey has made three short films and all have gone on to win awards. His latest film `Nooreh´ won the Sonje Award for Best Short film in Asian competition at the Busan International Film festival held from October 4 to 13. The 22-minute short film, which premiered at Busan, is about an eight-year-old girl living in a village on Indo-Pak border, who is troubled by the cross-firing. She discovers that the firing stops when she is awake.
